➸ 6 places I will definitely visit again

Montag, 19. September 2016

You’re on a holiday. Loving the place and having the best time ever. You and your companions swear you will come back. But deep inside, you know that will never ever happen. Yes, this scenario will happen to all of us, sooner or later.

BUT! Today I have my favourite spots for you, I know I will come back and it’s not just a little lie to myself.

San Francisco
My visit in San Francisco was so much fun. It’s so different from every other city in the USA I have ever been to. It’s huge, but felt so local. Very cute houses and VERY interesting people. 4 Days were definitely not enough.

Amrum, Germany
This is a pretty cool island in the North Sea with the widest beach you can imagine. From the age of 10 to about 16, my family and I travelled there at least once a year.  Most of the time my best friend came with us and we were just enjoying life: had the best rice puddings, messed around on the huge dunes, dug the deepest holes, cruised around with our bikes. Really, these were the greatest summers. There, I remember until today, I had the best sleep ever, e v e r y n i g h t.

Sarasosta, Florida
Another seaside town, where I spent a lot of my childhood holidays. Perfectly white beaches, crystal blue water, dolphins and barbeques. That pretty much sums it up.

Algarve, Portugal
You all know how much I love Portugal. Last year we travelled to the Algarve and found a very stunning place called Alvor. And I really want to go back to this area, because I think there are many more places we haven’t discovered yet.

New York City
Do I have even to mention this?

Vorupør, Denmark
This is a little surfer paradise in the north of Denmark, where I went with my family a few years ago. Lovely houses, everybody was so friendly and common, and who doesn’t love cinnamon rolls? I remember it so beautiful and relaxing, that I feel the need to go back sometime in the future.

Tofino, B.C. Canada
There will be a full blogpost about this little sea side town very soon. But here’s the short version: stunning beaches, whale watching, and the cutest village between the woods ever on Vancouver Island.
